Man City signs Shay Given

Shay Given is an excellent goalkeeper who used to play for Newcastle up until this transfer market window. Manchester City’s leaders recognized their need for a quality goalkeeper, and saw the perfect man in Shay Given. They landed him!

“The transfer was a bit slow, but in the end everything worked out well,” said Given. “Of course, I’d like to thank the fans who supported me. It really meant a lot to me.”
