Nigel De Jong delighted with City’s performance against Chelsea

Nigel De Jong was very happy about Manchester City’s performance against Chelsea saying his teams defense was good which led to their victory. Carlos Tevez scored the goal in the second half giving Mancini’s team a narrow win in Premier League.

City are four points behind Chelsea and De Jong is happy to have tamed the league leader keeping pressure on them. Manchester City midfielder said it was good we won the game against Chelsea or else it would have become difficult for us. Thanks for Tevez who scored winning goal for City even though we are four points behind we must keep on working hard, he added.

De Jong said pressure was completely on Chelsea from first minute which made it difficult for them which and reduced the pressure on us, we also defended well and it was entire team’s performance. Tevez praised De Jong for his tough-tackling performance and winning the man of the match award.
