Neil Lennon may consider Shay Given during January transfer window

Neil Lennon, manager of Celtic has denied the possibility of not signing Shay Given during January transfer window. The Hoops manager is very happy with his current goalkeeper and may consider going for Manchester City goalkeeper according to their performance.

Lennon also said he can add to the team if they play well during the league which can be questioned in January as he is very pleased with his three goalkeepers as they are trying hard for a first-team place. If at all we would like to get the Ireland international I can’t decide that as it is completely left to Peter, chief executive he added.

If we continue playing well during the league we will be happy to add to the team in case there is a requirement, Lennon said. Shay Given’s future at Eastlands has become doubtful after the player was left behind selecting Joe Hart as Manchester City’s first-choice goalkeeper.
