Manchester City still needs to improve says Roberto Mancini

Roberto Mancini praised Manchester City’s defensive performance against Chelsea and leading the blues to their first loss in the league this season in Eastlands. This takes the City to their perfect league start with Carlos Tevez scoring in the second half leading them to 1-0 victory.

Mancini thinks his team was successful in defeating the dangerous Chelsea who scored 22 goals in five games by playing strong football but also warned his team needs to improve. The teams needs more work to improve and especially in the match against Chelsea a special attention was required, Mancini said.

City’s boss thinks his team can really perform to their best when it is needed. Mancini said with the strong teams like Chelsea it is difficult to find a space but today we closed all the space for them by playing good football. When we had a chance to score the goal we scored which is very important, he added.
