Manchester City’s manager Roberto Mancini started eyeing the match against Chelsea on Saturday and made sure he has his senior debut Vidal, Greg Cunnningham, Ben Mee and John Guidetti for the tricky third-round tie.
City started well against West Brom when Jo scored first goal but later City conceded two goals losing match 2-1. Mancini said he wanted to win this game as both games are important for them, second match will be played against Chelsea on Saturday with 12 or 13 players only left. Chelsea was unfortunate after losing 4-3 against Newcastle United.
He said, the time is very short for the players and they need atleast three days for preparing, the young players were given a chance to play but if they don’t perform well they can’t improve. Saturday’s match against Chelsea is very important for the team and if there would have not so many injuries I could have put a stronger side, he added.
