Benitez: Man City money is good

Although everyone keeps saying that the money will ruin football, and that paying footballers that much money is nonsense, Rafa Benitez, the Liverpool boss, disagrees. He thinks that Manchester City is not the first club that’s spending big money for signings and everything else.
“I don’t think their money is changing football,” said Benitez to British press. “There are other teams who have spent big, big money this season too. There is not a massive difference.”

Liverpool plays against Man City this weekend, and Benitez said that it will be a tough game. Liverpool started the season good, but then failed to remain at number one. He said that Man City’s squad is strong, but that they will fight hard to win.
