Man City 1:0 Middlesbrough

Craig Bellamy is in top form, so it seems. He scored six times in the last seven games, including today’s goal against Middlesbrough which ended up being crucial for securing three points.
The first half wasn’t really interesting — both sides were running around the center, trying to break the opposite defense. However, that didn’t happen up until the second half. In the 51st minute Bellamy scored and the Citizens kept the lead until the end of the game.

Here are the line-ups:

Manchester City (4-3-3): Given – Richards, Kompany, Onouha, Bridge – De Jong, Zabaleta, Ireland – Robinho (Caciedo 82′), Wright-Phillips, Bellamy

Middlesbrough (4-4-2): Jones – Wheater, Riggott (Hoyte 67′), Huth, Pogatetz – Digard (O’Neil 60′), Bates, Johnson (Tuncay 74′), Downing – Alves, King
